Deceased 7-2018. Lightening fractured his front leg between the elbow and shoulder and was a model patient until, unfortunately,  the leg fused and he gave up his fight. I still miss his greetings each morning while doing chores but his memory and genetics live on through his offspring   . Always a joy to hike with, a gentleman to handle, and my bud...may he rest in green pastures.
